Miner Wars requires graphic adapter that supports Pixel Shader / Vertex Shader 3.0 or higher. Please make sure DirectX 9.0c or higher is onstalled and your video card drivers are up to date.
That is the error message i am getting.
My system:
Win 7 x64
4 GB RAM
Intel core i5 2.67 GHz
ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
If you need more specs just tell me
I have reinstalled the game twice now, i have disabled my 2nd monitor and i tried different compability modes and "run as admin" aswell... No joy

i have the same error, i have latest drivers installed for my ATi HD5870 which has shader model 5.0... so clearly the game is bugged or something...
i got it up and running... though it requires payment for the story mode....
and when is the MMO coming out? i don't really care about the single player part of the game.
my sys specs:
Core i7-860
Gigabyte P55A-UD5

Sapphire HD5870 1GB
LG Flatron W2261VP (2ms)

WD SATA 1TB HDD x2

I am having no problems with the Test Build and my two 5870 cards, so I don't think it's an inherent problem with the card itself... something on the software must be causing this for you two.
